The new thing we're into now is Remixes. Nick from Cold World just did a great one, Gulag's friend is about to drop one, our loyal engineer Hegge just busted one out, so there is plenty to look for. If you've got the gear, get in touch. Plus if Sebastien or Bangalter are reading this, also get in touch!

Lastly, this was done by our friend Alex Snelgrove. Soon you'll be able to get it on a tshirt.

OH YEAH. I almost forgot THIS. Its from CBC radio one last saturday.

PEACE

Good News Everyone

We just added a 6th show to the record release weekend, and the info is as follows:

SUNDAY OCTOBER 29TH
WHITE ORCHID CLUB
1PM ALL AGES $5

THE REGULATIONS
ATTACK IN BLACK
SAILBOATS ARE WHITE
NINJA HIGHSCHOOL

You won't need advance tickets for this show, but if you still haven't got your tickets for the 3 main shows, you so do so because tickets are selling sort of fast. The info for those tickets is, of course, here.

One thing i forgot to mention is that we're giving away Fucked Up test presses to the people (probably two) who have the best costumes on sunday. So wear a costume.

Hello Friends

Our ally Derek from All Things Ordinary will be spearheading the effort to put up a respectable and complete Fucked Up discography website. It will be at vibrationandhum.com, but there's nothing on that page yet, so don't clink on that link just yet. You probably have one of the top Fucked Up vinyl collections out there, and since you do, you should email a pictar of it to our Black Sun David Eliade at vibrationandhum@hotmail.com and we'll put it up there on the website.
Just in case you didn't notice, there is a poster for the festival we are throwing at the top of this page. Make sure you get your advance tickets so you don't end up like this guy

and instead end up like these ones

In other news, Concentration Camp has changed his name to Gulag, as a result of all the bad press he was getting. Case in point:

Wish upon a star
I loved your article about punk band Fucked Up (NOW, August 3-9). I just wish my son, Concentration Camp, who's a member, would go to university just in case things don't work out. I mean, Mick Jagger is a graduate of the London School of Economics, right?

Ken Zucker
Toronto

(ps Ken Zucker is Gulag's DAD. NO SHIT.)

And lastly for any of you females or shutins, Pink Eyes is getting married next Sunday.

Black Sun Golden Bee

A mother made into the world
From patterns laid for all to find
A piece she gave to child unfurled
A bridge to save the dead who shined
Beyond their lives to make the next
Mother survive who then refined
The pattern made it more complex
From just a blade on low she saw
It spread above to trees which grew
Their leafs like blades atop anew

So out it spilled a child in awe
The task fulfilled for mother who
Released from deep within her maw
A living hum of life who's hue
Would colour black and brighten dark
And before long would be imbued
With strength to then itself embark
On to pursue the song alone
But from all sides would face the war
A song who's call would see it soar
